There are at least two artists who go by the name Remark: 1. A instrumental/experimental hip-hop producer from Karlsruhe/Germany. His 2011 debut album "Enjoying Mistakes" is a mixture of familiar structures and harmonies and abstract, transcending arrangements. Remark has his roots in the loop based Hip-Hop culture, which he devoted himself to since his youth. Being influenced by rap music of the 80s and 90s and the later emerging trip-hop movement, Remark counts contemporary artists like Prefuse73, Dimlite, Exile, Nosaj Thing, Suff Daddy or Flying Lotus to his inspirations.
