Brigitte Zarie is a female jazz vocalist born in Toronto, Canada now living in New York, New York. Collaborating with Jeff Golub and others, she has published her debut album, Make Room For Me. Zarie comes from a musical family; her father was a keyboard player and saxophonist, her brother a guitarist, and her mother sang. She once said, "My teachers are the great musicians I grew up listening to." Artists who have had an influence on her include saxophonist Stan Getz and singer Billie Holiday, among others.
