Publiners is a band from Brønnøysund, Nordland, Norway. Their music is inspired by different kinds of folk, folk-rock and folk-inspired music. The band themselves has labelled their music "Folk'n'roll." Publiners has excisted since1997, originally doing mainly cover versions of irske folk songs and ballads, yet under the strong influence of the band members' backgrunds as rock musicians. Ever since the beginning Publiners has been writing their own music.
