1)たま (Tama) is an avant-folk group from Japan, formed in 1984. 2) Tama is a female doujin vocalist.
1) By 1986 they were signed to the famous indie label Nagomu Records, they became famous for their creative and quirky music and lyrics, and in 1990 was their major debut in Axec.
Yanagihara Youichiro left in 1995 but they continued together, mixing their style with new technology, adding electronic elements to their music.
