Check 1-2 is a sixties-style garage/beat/soul/americana/R&B band based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Band members are Fat Pete, Sander, Jim Pacobs and Ernie. All band-members were previously in Amsterdam-based sixties garage band The Skidmarks, who released three full-length albums during the years 2002-2004 and played more than 250 live shows worldwide. Founded in November 2005, Check 1-2 can in fact be regarded as a continuation of The Skidmarks.
