Gadarene blends obscure traditional English tunes, virtuoso acoustic musicians and funky beats with loads of energy. The richness of the band's sound comes from unusual and compelling tunes, carefully researched from Eighteenth and Nineteenth century English manuscripts and played by fiddler Nick Wyke and Mandonlin player, Matt Norman. The contemporary dance feel comes from the driving back line of double bass (Laurel Swift) and drums (Si Paull).
