The Distant Seconds are based in Austin, TX and consist of Matt Baab (guitar, vocals), Kirk Miles (bass), Charlie Ewing (drums), and Ben Meza (guitar / keyboards). The band are featured on the Matador Records compilation "Casual Victim Pile" (released Jan. 2010) and the split 12" vinyl / iTunes EP "Consumed / Hot Buttered Anomie" (with Austin's Beautiful Supermachines) (also Jan. 2010, Chicken Ranch Records).
