Solanaceae Tau is a German experimental band and art project from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, founded in the early 1980s and active mainly in the DIY underground.
Anarcho-leftwing orientated lyrics are combined with cold electronic beats, female vocals, tape collages and
occassional guitars. With this mixture Solanaceae Tau make a stand in between genres as darkwave, minimal wave and industrial.
