The [Law-Rah] Collective is a surprising dark ambient project that is led by Bauke van der Wal with members Hiekelien Van Den Herik and Martijn Pieck. The musical soundscapes Bauke creates are hauntingly melodic while also being surprisingly minimalistic. Using light tones and and waves in sparse amounts, The [Law-Rah] Collective creates heavy atmospheres that are quite soothing, yet somehow foreboding at the same instance. At other times, the collective uses more intense noise based electronic sounds creating increasingly aggressive tracks that are still quite easy to become absorbed by.
