The Narrow Escapes (originating from Austin, TX) started in 2002 as The Romeo and Juliet with the first release being a home made cd entitled "Primavera" on a laptop using the internal laptop microphone and acid pro. Many more songs were made under the R&J moniker before turning into The Narrow Escapes with "I am a Bird's Eye View" being released in 2003 with Evan Archer (of Troubles With Argonauts). "Lightning Strikes Twice Everywhere I Walk" followed in 2004. Recently Paul Brinkley and Stephanie Bonham along with Silva make up the band.
