Vida Killz is a female hip hop/rap/indie artist born and raised in San Jose, a suburban area in the California’s Bay Area. She says, “My passion in life is art, music being my main love”. With two self-produced albums (Transformation: Reflections for Self and Memoirs), and a third on the way, Vida Killz wants to make her mark in the music business. Although she plays guitar, she enjoys writing lyrics and rhyming the most. Influenced by acts such as, The Temptations, Common, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu, Jean Grae, Mos Def, Aretha Franklin and Slug, to name a few.
