Music played an important role in Aaron's upbringing. He was born of Dominican/African American heritage into a household where no one else played an instrument. Aaron's talent began to shine at an early age, and by the time he was fifteen, he was playing professionally, performing with a wide range of local bands and also writing his own songs. "Music was something that came natural for me. It was what I enjoyed and loved so much. I learned how to play other instruments all through High school and even started arranging parts for the Marching Band."
