Sleep and The Traveller "combines the layered guitar landscapes and lyrical imagery of The Church, the technical artstry of Rush... painted with shades of Tool and Alice in Chains..." Their latest single, Not Today, from the Machine Gun Theory album, due out in early 2007, has been described as a Johnny Cash meets R.E.M. anti-ballad. In short, the band plays guitar-driven indie rock that covers a range of styles.
