Coral Sant Jordi was started 60 years ago, in 1947, by a group of friends encouraged by the well-known figure of Oriol Martorell, who worked as conductor from the beginning and headed not only a unique way of interpreting and performing music, but also a certain social projection of music in connection with and committed to the history of Catalonia.
