Chad Gray (born October 16, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois, US), is the lead vocalist for American alternative nu-metal band Mudvayne and rock supergroup Hellyeah. He quit his factory job in Florida that paid $40,000 a year to move to Peoria, Illinois and form Mudvayne. Gray is well known both for his clean singing and trademark screams and growls. He occasionally wears make-up on stage.

In 2005 Gray married Kelli Olson; they have a home in Redding, California. In the same year his grandmother Rau died from cancer that she had been battling for years.
