He is probably most well known for his vocals along side Jordan Blilie in the now defunct post-hardcore band, The Blood Brothers. He is currently the vocalist of Jaguar Love. Johnny has also provided vocals for The Vogue, Soiled Doves, Vade, and Neon Blonde. He has gone on to remix "Positive Tension" by Bloc Party as well as Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the latter is featured on his "DJ Johnny Whitney" MySpace page.
