Born on January 15, 1983 and hailing from Rahway, New Jersey, multi-instrumentalist Justin Beck moved with his parents to northern Arkansas at the age of five, and during his late teens, he began playing music in various garage bands and projects in the area. Greatly influenced by artists like The Beatles, Wilco, and Elliott Smith, Justin later began recording acoustic covers of his favorite tunes, as well as founding an Indie/Lo-Fi project, Merica, alongside long-time friend and musician Anthony Racianello.
