Kit Clayton is the recording name of Joshua Kit Clayton, a San Francisco-based musician and programmer. He is a significant contributor to Cycling 74's Max/MSP/Jitter, and utilizes it extensively in his own work, which is largely ambient computer music and glitch. Clayton operated his own label, Orthlorng Musork, which recently announced its final release and the closing of label operations with the following statement:
