The KiK is a contemporary sixties beat band from the city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Risen from the ashes of The Madd in 2010 (formed and fronted by Dave von Raven), the band released their first 7-inch vinyl single in April 2011: My Eyes Are Still Dry (with Here's Hoping on its flipside). A seasonal single followed in december: A Christmas Song For You (Radio Mix). In May 2012 The KiK surprised fans and press by releasing a full-length début album that is sung entirely in Dutch: Springlevend.
