2PU is a rock band from Zielona Góra in Poland, formed in 2001 and consisting of Andrzej Piwowar, Izabela Miedejszo, Jacek „jaca” Brzuz, and Marek Wiskowski. In its early years 2PU recorded two self-released EPs “Find Another Way” and “Banana Core”. Their third EP „Banana Core Vol.2” was released in 2004, sold well locally and spawning radio hit "Play It Louder." They have also sent the EP to different record companies. The popularity of the “Banana Core Vol.2” EP brought the band to the attention of Universal's NuEnergy Label, which released their three songs in compilation „NuN!” in 2004.
