Aliza Marie was created in September 1998 by Kichiku, Hiroki (ex-Lavis de fleur), Satsuki (ex-Dolice) and Takumi (ex-Lavis de fleur). The band didn't reveal itself to a wider audience for awhile, but in December 2001 they joined the label Donuts Records West. The band started with a number of performances, participating in various events. In March 2002 they released their first maxi-single, Tokumei kobou no otayori.
