(formerly known as Spankboy) Formed late in 1998, Solabeat Alliance's sound was a reflection of their travels to the sunshine lands, combined with a thirst for rock. SBA drew influences from Caribbean culture through to Calypso Ska and Punk Rock. In the summer of 2002 The 'Alliance' hit the road for their longest ever headline tour playing over 70 shows including the Sound Club in Leicester Square, winning the National Battle of the Bands and getting signed to Moon Ska Europe.
