Andrei Machado is a self-taught brazilian composer. His influences are neo-classical music and minimalist artists like Peter Broderick, Bosques De Mi Mente, Max Michta, Goldmund and Michael Andrews. In October 2008, Sinewave (www.sinewave.com.br) released his debut album "Lacuna" and the Brazilian channel MTV chose his work as one of the 5 coolest debut albums of 2008. Also on the Brazilian MTV site, Andrei Machado was quoted on one of the best new artists from 2008.
