The_Orkestra is a theatrical convergence of high energy music and performance art. Fusing the sounds of gypsy jazz, swing and world music, with the styles of vaudeville cabaret and circus arts, it’s not just a band, it’s an Orkestra. This project came together over the rainy winter months in a radically self sustaining art collective just outside of Portland Oregon. The members of The _Orkestra are world travelers and rambling artist types whos combined experiences and varied performance backgrounds create the perfect chemistry for an amazing show.
