The Killing Moon is a band from Hampden, Maine, United States. In their early years, they were a ska band called, Animal Suit Driveby. After many years of playing together, in 2005 they realized they were no longer very ska, and decided to change their name to more reflect the fact that they were no longer the band of old. Animal Suit Driveby became The Killing Moon. They kept their horn players, but have them as more of a backing part of the band.
