The Hype Theory are a powerpop/punk band from Chelmsford, Essex. Their blend of summery pop rock tunes has taken them to the biggest
UK festivals including Download, T in the Park, Underage, Hevy and Sonisphere. The band formed in the summer of 2010 after lead vocalist Katy Jackson and Guitarist Sean Bishop spent a year of experimental writing together at college.
