Desmond Child & Rouge was formed in 1973 in Miami, FL . Rouge consisted of singers Maria Vidal, Diana Grasselli, and Myriam Vaille. In 1978, Desmond Child & Rouge signed to Capitol Records. In 1979, they released 2 albums for Capitol: their self-titled debut (features "Our Love Is Insane", their only Billboard Hot 100 entry, which peaked at #51); and "Runners In The Night". Desmond went on to become a successful producer & songwriter.
