Founded in the late 90s as a five-piece band, Kendric already ceased to exist in 2007. When former band member Kay Nickold received a request from the discounter Lidl for a song which would accompany their TV advertisement, Kay didn't hesitate for a second and offered Kendric's old song "The Little Things". Very much to everyone's surprise, "The Little Things" was accepted by Lidl, and the single entered the market on November 21st, 2008.
