Great Ocean is an experimental/post-rock duo composed of Zane Carter Limpach (acoustic drums) and James Ray Arnold (electric guitar). The band was formed in San Luis Obispo, CA in 2000. They had a nice run of shows with The Sea and Cake, The Black Heart Procession, Little Wings, Scissors for Lefty, 31 Knots, Canyon, The French Kicks, York Roberts (Graves), Opera Cycle and a bunch of other great bands.
