Nick Hennies is a percussionist and composer originally from Louisville, KY and Saint Louis, MO, and is currently residing in Austin, TX. His music is typically minimalist in nature and often employs unusual playing techniques and a reverence for the sounds being produced. In addition to his solo work Hennies is a member of The Weird Weeds and has collaborated with a wide array of musicians including Arnold Dreyblatt, Radu Malfatti, Charles Curtis, and Jandek.
