"Mush and the Room" from Cologne was formed in 1987, changing its band name to "Rausch" in 1988. Between 1989 and 2004 they released seven albums. Rausch toured with bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Faith No More and the B-52’s. In 1996 they played at SXSW in Austin/Texas. The last line-up in 2005 before they split up was: Peter Sarach (Vocals, Guitar), Wolly Düse (Drums, Vocals), Björn Kluth (Bass), Thorsten Dohle (Guitar).
