In 2003, the world bid farewell to a talented singer; Zekra. The late star was born Fatima Mohamed Aldali on the 16th of September, 1966 in Wadey El-Leil, Tunisia. She was the eighth youngest among her siblings Tawfeeq, Mohsin, Al Sayyidah, Salwa, Al Habeeb, Hajar, Kawthar and Wedaad. She attended elementary school in Wadi Al Lail and later transferred to Al Khaznadar (Arabic script: الخزندار) elementary school to complete her studies. But by the time she was in seventh grade, it was clear that Zekra preferred to have a career as a singer than finish her academic studies.
