Sufi was Rudi Tambala, ex- of A.R. Kane and sister Maggie (on vocals), who in the mid 90s released two albums of dreamy, soft-focus, trippy pop, Life's Rising and Lovers and Trippers. Sufism is the mystical dimension of Islam but does not attach itself to any particular religion, it embraces all. which is all about leaving plurality to merge with the ultimate singularity, the Oneness of God. Sufi yearn for the love of God and has no desire except the Divine Love.
