Poor People are a Rock Band from Melbourne. Poor People grew out a particularly low cash-flow summer where friends got together to waste some hot days. Siblings Lloyd Briggs (Zeroes, High Seas Deep Seas) and Erica Dunn (Barbara’s Bush) already performed as a two-piece around the traps but were soon joined by Jon Chapell (mclusky, Shooting at Unarmed Men, Harmony) on the drums and Patrick Walker (A Friend Of Mine, Shooting at Unarmed Men, Zombirds) on the bass.
