Spirit Assembly is an incredibly influential, although not well-known, emotional hardcore band from Lancaster, Pa. They were an important figure in the central Pennsylvania and southeast firehall /basement scene, sharing the stage with bands ranging from Frail and The Bouncing Souls. The lineup included: Sam Stansbery, Dru Martin and Zachary "Gus" Martin, although an early formation of Spirit Assembly was a four-piece, the voice of the original singer can be heard on early recordings.
