Matthew Koma was born on June 2, 1987 he is an American musician and singer-songwriter. Koma was born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, New York and has strongly been Inspired by Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen's music. Koma started his music career as a punk rocker, later transitioning into a mixture of genres that range from pop and hip-hop to EDM. His first song that was released was 'Parachute', followed by 'She' and then 'One and Stars.' His early collaborations include work with Zedd, Swedish House Mafia, Alesso and Ryan Tedder and One Republic.
